  • Thanks Chris, I'm going to try and get out to the Knightdale meetup this week if I can. I'm up near Triangle Town Center, so it's not too far from me. Hope to see you there!

  • Hey chris, I'm connected with severl dozen local ag brewers, I've probably made 30 or so batches of Ag, many of those were 10-12 gal batches, I'm in the process of going electric. I most likely will be at the clayton meetup witth damon corbin, who pointed me here.

  • Greetings from Rocky Mount. It looks like you have been quite busy trying to get things organized in your area. As noted, I have only just recently gotten back in to home brewing as a result of a friend giving me a Mr. Beer kit last month. I have 18 bottles of American Pale Ale conditioning & have a 2 gallon batch of English Pub Ale fermenting. I have been consumed with reading/research and am looking forward to expanding this addictive hobby and thank everyone in advance for their guidance

  • Thanks for the welcome! I plan to attend as many events as possible, but this week is pretty busy, so we'll see! Fermenting currently is 10 gallons of a chocolate peanut butter porter and 10 gallons of a winter spiced ale. Plan on taking some of each to the Homebrew for Hunger event and the Brewmaster's Bar & Grill Homebrew Humpday. Glad you enjoy the website! I hope it will really grow to be a valuable resource. I have brewers from Natty Greenes and Haw River Ales contributing soon also!

  • Thanks for the warm welcome. I can't make the Brewers Cup due to a wedding but I hope to make another upcoming event.

  • Hey Chris, I've been brewing for 24 years, all-grain for almost all of that. I hope to make it for some of the events.

  • Hi Chris,
Thanks for the welcome. Sorry I didn't see this earlier this year.

I've been brewing for about 1.5 years, mostly extract until this year, when I took the plunge to all grain. I've been much happier with my results since that time. I'm not really into the competition thing, but like trading homebrews and getting feedback from other more experienced brewers.

Hope to see you guys at some beer related events.

    Thanks again.

  • Thanks for the welcome, Chris! Didn't see much on the upcoming calendar... any chance there's a group brew day or a meet or something coming up? Just getting the chance to break out a little (recently sold my business so I now have a little more freedom to play for a bit) and would love to get some opinions on some of my stuff, as well as try some others from around the area. Keep me posted!
