But the Depot is a part of me. I'll be extremely sad about leaving it. I'd prefer to stay, but I'll sing and support anywhere. Chucking streamers at the opposing keepers will be missed.

The Depot is a state of mind. To paraphrase a favorite Crowded House song...

"Everywhere you go, always take the Depot with you"

In the event of moving, I think that needs to be a chant.

As for me, I'm looking forward to finally getting a chance to cheer from the Depot, whatever its physical location - but if it moves, I'd ask for confirmation that the new section will stay cheaper than its seats would indicate in future seasons, because I do think supporters' section tickets should be cheap to make it easier on us twenty-somethings.

I vote yes.

I am looking forward to a better view. I also like the idea of when fans enter the stadium they will hear our chants and hopefully be curious enough to join us in song. Of course, being close to the beer garden doesn't hurt either.

Looking forward to the new season!

I don't particularly mind. The best part about 204 was definitely throwing streamers and I definitely think the actual Pros of the move are more valuable than the cons. I agree with Craig though and that it would be best to make sure those seats are kept at that price line for continuing seasons, otherwise 204 would be best because of the cost.

To answer a few questions that have come up in the thread...

Anyone with season tickets will be given the opportunity to move from 204 to 309.

I will address the standing on the rail issue with the club.

The supporters club seats, wherever we are, will always be in the lowest price zone.

That's pretty much what I expected, but it's good to have confirmation.

I think the move will be fine, too bad its still kind of off to the corner.
And we won't get a good view of goals by 204. I might have to go to the stadium and review that section :-P
I like that we are closer to the corner to yell in corners... But at the same time we won't be behind the goalie to yell at him and make him miss, all while Carlos and Marc aim a drum at him...

A good thing though is that side might finally get some "fan frenzy" people, since I never saw any at the "Fan Frenzy Zone"

I think it should be fine overall. Wherever we go, I'll be at the Depot (meaning with you guys, not the 204 necessarily)

Thank you all for your comments, feedback, and votes on the question of where TSF should stand during the 2011 season.

Based on this feedback, I have notified the RailHawks Front Office that we intend to accept their proposal to move the Depot to section 309 of WakeMed Soccer Park this season.

Looking forward to filling it up and spilling over into 310 by the end of the season!

Those of you that have previously purchased tickets in 204 will be contacted in the coming weeks about moving your tickets to 309 if you would like to do so.
